The 2006 Emmys opening act

Funniest one yet.
Make sure you watch the whole thing- the end’s the best part.

Saw this last night and found a clip of it this morning. Funny interview.
Update: NBC got YouTube to remove it.

The BBC meant to interview Guy Kewney, a computer expert about the Apple Computer versus Apple legal case, but accidentally picked up Guy Goma, an economics graduate who was waiting in a different reception area for a job interview. Check out his expression when he first finds out what he’s being interviewed for.

Apparently the shows were added a a few days ago, but I just noticed them today!
You can now purchase 24 (!), Prison Break (!!), Unan1mous, Stacked, and some “Fox Television Classics” (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Firefly, and Lost in Space) in the TV Shows section of the iTunes music store.

I purchased an episode of Prison Break (called “Tonight” (the episode before last weeks episode)) and for $1.99, and it’s not too bad. I was able to place it on my iPod right away and on my iPod it looks great! However, on my computer, they quality is a little iffy. Personally, I still prefer the quality and speed of Bittorrent, but this is definitely a leap in the right direction (making good shows available for legal download).

Anyone else notice the Apple ads during Prison Break and 24? I thought the one airing during Prison Break was pretty funny and the one airing during 24 wasn’t too bad either.

Check it out. As of now, it’s only four shows (Desperate Housewives, Lost, Alias, and Commander in Chief- all of which are pretty bad), but allowing viewers to watch whenever they want is definitely a step in the right direction. Quality is not the greatest and advertisements are still stuck in, so, personally, even if they had better shows, I’d still be getting them off of Bittorrent (much better quality and no advertisements).
It’s for the USA only and will be going from now until June 30th, 2006.
