Night Sky

Camera: Canon EOS Rebel XTi
Date: 11/24/06 at 11:57:21 PM
Shutter: 151″ (2 minutes and 31 seconds)
Aperture: f/3.5
Focal Length: 18mm
ISO: 100

I was hoping to go for a 5 minute exposure to get some nice circulation of the stars, but I got tired and let go of the shutter at two and half minutes. I really need one of these for those long exposure shots.

I’ve been meaning to do this. However I think it’d come out bad, as there’s streetlamps all around our house.

Ah, I live in a dark area, so that’s not too much of a problem for me. There’s light coming from the bottom right corner, which I’m guessing is the LCD in the back because I forgot to cover the viewfinder (I think my attempt to cover it up wasn’t too bad. It used to be a bright purple flare). Tough part is finding a night where the sky is perfectly clear.
