Bump keying

Bump Keying is a very simple locking picking technique working on at least 90% on all pin locks. All you need is an easy-to-obtain bump key that when placed in a lock and lightly bumped a few times, will move the internal pins of the lock and open the lock.

Yes - a little to simple.

What makes it easier ( or more scary if you want to talk about it) is that sites like http://www.bumpkey.us actually sell them to anyone. Makes you wonder what joe public is going to use them for.

    http://www.cheapbumpkeys.com/

That site is selling them even cheaper.

It’s an astonishing thought that anyone with $9.99 can break into millions of homes in America without even leaving a trace.
