Texas Chainsaw Massacre trailer

Has anybody seen this? New Line Cinemas put a time restriction on a movie trailer… You can only watch it from 10PM to 4AM (which time zone by the way?!?). I don’t quite understand what they’re doing. If it’s a way to gain publicity, it’s an oxymoron.

On the subject of movie trailers, check out the new Disney’s Cars HD movie trailer. Make sure you watch the 1080p HD version. You’ll need a fairly powerful computer to watch it (1920×1080 resolution video at 24 frames per second), but it’s absolutely amazing video. Pixar did an unbelievable job on the computer graphics.

the reason the trailer is only viewable at certain times is b/c the mpaa ruled that the trailer could only be shown before r-rated films and not online (i guess since it was too violent), but they then agreed to let them show it online at certain times when kids would be less likely to watch it. you can watch if u have itunes and click on “movie trailers”, then “horror” under genre and then you’ll see texas chainsaw massacre at the top of the page. its a pretty good trailer.

Ah, I see. I figured it was a gimmick to get you to watch the trailer, but your explanation does make more sense.
