A Swedish company is beginning to offer file-sharing insurance for P2P apps (see below for translation of the site). $19 a year gets you unlimited downloading rights, and if you happen to get caught by the RIAA/MPAA, they’ll cover the costs.
They’ll also give you a t-shirt if you get sued.
For a mere 140 SEK ($19 USD) per year, we will pay all your fines and give you a t-shirt if you get convicted for file sharing.

Just print out the coupon.
Note that it is a one time use coupon.

Look at the Select button, or should I say the Serect button.
Pretty big spelling mistrake.

VisualHub is new piece of software made by the guys who made iSquint. It’s an easy-to-use and very fast video convertor for nearly every format. I’d say it’s probably worth the $23.32 USD, but there’s a pretty big bug in it. You don’t need to pay for it to get a working serial. Just keep the name and e-mail box blank and enter in any number for the serial.

Don’t worry, already notified the guys about this.
Update: They’ve pulled the bugged version and re-released a fixed version. I guess anyone who grabbed a copy in the first 24 hours got lucky. ![]()

Has anybody seen this? New Line Cinemas put a time restriction on a movie trailer… You can only watch it from 10PM to 4AM (which time zone by the way?!?). I don’t quite understand what they’re doing. If it’s a way to gain publicity, it’s an oxymoron.

On the subject of movie trailers, check out the new Disney’s Cars HD movie trailer. Make sure you watch the 1080p HD version. You’ll need a fairly powerful computer to watch it (1920×1080 resolution video at 24 frames per second), but it’s absolutely amazing video. Pixar did an unbelievable job on the computer graphics.

All I had to do was reset my modem to obtain the speeds.
The speed bursts only occur when downloading large files.
